Burnaby Homeless Connect 2009 

275 people attended this important event – an increase of over 59 people 

Thank you to the 51 volunteers, 33 service providers/staff and 13 invited guests who helped provide service to 178 individuals

 175   BREAKFASTS were served by the Burnaby Optimists

  20   EYE CARE examinations performed (6 Referred)

  17   DENTAL examinations performed

  31   Individuals were seen by the NURSE and NURSE PRACTITIONER

                        10 Nurse

                        16 Nurse Practitioner

                        5 Public Health Nurse

  61   HAIR CUTS were completed

  14   MAKE OVERS were completed

  55   Individuals seen by the Progressive Housing Society OUTREACH WORKERS

200   LUNCHES were served (approx)

  18   People attended the FOOT CARE CLINIC

  60   Attended the LEARNING TABLE

103   People received COMFORT KITS and FOOD KITS
